Living in the mountains means that your backyard is an adventure. I love whitewater rafting, perhaps my favorite outdoor sport. The whiter and rougher the water the more I love it. Here I am rafting the Gunnison with my father, my mother and some of my aunts. The guy on the back is the raft guide. None of the rapids exceeds Class II on this strip of the river, but the purpose of this particular trip was to allow my aunts to enjoy it, not to scare them.
